• Anonymous identifiers: when you submit a rating we create an anonymous user ID. We may also store a lightweight device hash to reduce spam/duplicates.
• Rating content: score (1–10) and optional short message.
• Technical data: basic logs and diagnostics (e.g., IP at the edge, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

How We Use Information

• To store and display aggregated ratings for a given link/campaign.
• To protect the service from abuse, spam, and duplicate submissions.
• To run automated moderation on optional messages (e.g., via Google AI/Gemini) to detect policy violations; flagged content may be hidden or reviewed.

Data Processors

We use third-party services as data processors, including:

• Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database).
• Google AI (automated text moderation for messages).
• Vercel (hosting & serverless functions).

Retention

Ratings are kept as long as the related link/campaign is active or required for safety and analytics. We may aggregate or anonymize data for longer-term insights.

Your Choices

• You can choose not to include a message; only the score is required.

Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect stored data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

RateMe is not intended for children under the age where parental consent is legally required in your region. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of changes.
