Terms of Service

1. Service Overview

RateMe lets people leave simple ratings (and optional short messages) on a per-link/campaign basis. Links may rotate over time and are mapped from a username handle.

2. Accounts & Anonymity

We may use anonymous authentication and device signals to prevent spam and duplicates. You are responsible for your activity and any content you submit.

3. Acceptable Use & Content

• No illegal, harmful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or violent content.
• Zero-tolerance for political or religious commentary in messages; such content may be automatically flagged/hidden.
• No spam, scams, or attempts to manipulate ratings.
• Do not interfere with or abuse the service or its infrastructure.

4. Moderation

We may automatically analyze messages (e.g., with Google AI/Gemini) and/or take manual action. We reserve the right to remove content, restrict features, or terminate access for violations.

5. Ownership

You retain rights to your submitted content, but grant RateMe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process it as needed to operate the service.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that RateMe will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results will meet your expectations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes to the Service

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your applicable jurisdiction. If you have specific legal requirements, consult counsel and adapt this section.
